Why Does Not Corn Emerge After Sowing By Cone Planter?
With the development of agricultural mechanization, corn planters are widely used. However, some customers reflected that corn does not emerge after sowing. The following are the factors that may affect the emergence rate of corn.
1. First of all, make sure that the condition is suitable for the germination of corn seeds. Too dry or too muddy soil is not conducive to corn germination.
2. The distance between fertilizers and seeds needs to be more than 3cm. If the distance is too small, the seedlings will be hurt by fertilizer. The more the amount of fertilizer is, the greater the distance should be.
3. The seed-metering device of the corn planter needs to be adjusted, and after adjustment, turn the land wheel to watch the operation of the seeder.
4. The sowing depth should not be too large, or will affect the emergence. But if too shallow, the corn seedling will be dry rot easily.
5. Be sure to choose a new corn seeds with a high germination rate.
